COME FLY WITH US
Viniesta Trips, through travel partner Adler & Marlow, offers small group food and wine itineraries with insider access to some of the heroes, rebels, pioneers and innovators of the Spanish natural wine movement. You’ll meet the winemakers behind the projects, explore their vineyards, learn about their ancestral winemaking process, and share (many!) copas of their thirst-quenching wines.
WALK THE UNIQUE TERROIR
Not only will you walk the unique terroir, see the vines, and learn how the grapes transform into natural wine, but you’ll also absorb the history and local culture that have been essential to the flowering of these dynamic traditions in uniquely different regions. You’ll enjoy farm-to-table cuisine, eat like a local, and gain unique cultural insight along the way. You’ll see some of the most dramatic scenery, often taking the road less traveled.

Álvaro de la Viña
Álvaro de la Viña is the founder of Viniesta and owner of Selections de la Viña, importer of natural wines from Spain and beyond. As a Spanish native growing up in the US, he was always very passionate about sharing his Spanish culture.
He started Selections de la Viña with his wife, Ana González. Originally from Sevilla, the couple began importing wines from southern Spain, focusing on fresh selections with immediate appeal that they loved to drink as opposed to the super ripe, over-extracted Spanish wines that they felt dominated the market.
In 2019, they were recognized as one of Wine Enthusiast’s 40 under 40 tastemakers. Selections de la Viña now works with more than 50 producers from across the Iberian Peninsula and South America that practice conscientious farming and minimal intervention winemaking while highlighting lesser known regions and their indigenous grape varieties.

Danny Adler
New York City born and raised Danny Adler has been living and working in Spain in hospitality and travel since 2007. Building on his experience cooking in some of New York City’s finest restaurants as a teenager and college student, he started a small catering company out of his Madrid apartment—Comida Neoyorquina—while he was completing his international business degree. Spanish cuisine, culture, history and lifestyle captivated him; and he decided to stay in Spain after graduation. He started as a food and wine guide in Barcelona and soon became the general manager of a boutique day trip company focused on cultural, culinary and adventure travel in Catalonia.
He founded Adler & Marlow (www.adlermarlow.com) in 2016 to focus on tailor-made journeys for luxury travelers to Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Through his company he shares the often-hidden, remarkable people and places that he continues to discover on his own quest for authentic experiences, regional cuisine, and magical ambiance.
